Hm .. I think I like this. Most of it. There are of course some parts I'm not too happy about, but let's not focus on those... ;) My favorite parts are the eyes, the shirt and partly the hair. :)

I'd lose my mind if I tried to do such a detailed vector in PS. So many layers! Why don't you use Illustrator?
I really like this. The hair is really nice and the shirt is amazing.

I now .. I'm just lazy .. I never get around learning Illustrator. I guess it's not that difficult, but I'm so used to Photoshop now ... I know .. stupid. ;)

And thanks! :)

I'm not even close to knowing everything about Illustrator, but so far it hasn't been too hard. The pen tool works the same in both programs, so if you tried a vector in illustrator it wouldn't be much different, besides the fact you don't need a layer for each shape.

You're welcome. :D

great piece, i prefer photoshop to illustrator purely on interface ease of use.

Very nice; I think the face and hair are done really well.

I think the image might benefit from being cropped a little closer to the head as the body is a little dumpy because of the pose, but otherwise great stuff
